Andrew recently returned from Sengerema in North West Tanzania as part of a team of 7 dentists and 3 dental nurses training rural clinical officers in a remote part of rural Tanzania to provide emergency dentistry to areas of the country where there has been no access to safe dental treatment before. A challenging humbling and truly fulfilling experience. Quote from one of the nurses ( an ex army nurse) ‘two weeks in Tanzania is far more challenging than a six month tour of Iraq’ !!
